Do I need an appointment for emergency care?

No. We operate on a walk-in basis 24/7—just come in or call ahead if possible. 

What is considered a medical emergency?

A medical emergency is any condition that puts your pet’s life at risk or requires urgent medical attention. Some of the most common cases we see include:  

  • Trauma, such as being hit by a vehicle or attacked by another animal 
  • Ingesting toxic foods or substances 
  • Increased breathing rate or difficulty breathing 
  • Vomiting or diarrhea in puppies or kittens 
  • Repeated vomiting or multiple episodes of diarrhea in adult dogs 
  • Persistent retching 
  • Blood in urine or difficulty urinating 
  • Red, swollen, or painful eyes
