Do I need an appointment for emergency care?

No appointment is needed, and walk-ins are welcome 24/7. 

We understand that emergencies happen without warning. If you suspect that your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, please visit us immediately. Our team is always ready to help. 

What is a medical emergency?

A medical emergency is any urgent or life-threatening condition that requires immediate care. Common examples include:

  • Trauma, such as being hit by a vehicle or attacked by another animal 
  • Ingesting toxic foods or substances 
  • Increased breathing rate or difficulty breathing 
  • Vomiting or diarrhea in puppies or kittens 
  • Repeated vomiting or multiple episodes of diarrhea in adult dogs 
  • Persistent retching 
  • Blood in urine or difficulty urinating 
  • Red, swollen, or painful eyes 
  • Swollen or distended abdomen

What should I do if my pet eats something toxic?

Call us and bring your pet in right away. If possible, bring the packaging or a sample of the substance they ingested to help our team treat them effectively.
