We understand that emergencies happen when you least expect them. All we ask if that if your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, please bring them in immediately.
A medical emergency is any life-threatening condition or urgent health concern, such as:
- Trauma, such as being hit by a vehicle or attacked by another animal
- Ingesting toxic foods or substances
- Increased breathing rate or difficulty breathing
- Vomiting or diarrhea in puppies or kittens
- Repeated vomiting or multiple episodes of diarrhea in adult dogs
- Persistent retching
- Blood in urine or difficulty urinating
- Red, swollen, or painful eyes
- Swollen or distended abdomen
