Weekend Emergency Veterinary Care You Can Trust

Whether you’re enjoying the Grand Blanc Dog Park or unwinding at home, pet emergencies can happen without warning—and quick action matters. Just a short drive away, Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC) – Saginaw provides emergency and critical care for dogs and cats throughout Grand Blanc and the greater Flint area, available from Fridays at 7 PM through Mondays at 8:30 AM.*

*While our facility closes at 8:30 AM on Mondays, the last patient will be seen at 7 AM to allow adequate time for treatment. We kindly ask that you plan your visit accordingly to ensure your pet receives the care they need. Thank you for understanding.

From the moment you arrive, our emergency team is ready to jump in. We focus on efficient triage, clear communication, and compassionate care, so you always understand what is happening and what to expect next. Our team will guide you through check-in, answer your questions, and provide updates throughout your pet’s visit.

As an emergency-only hospital, we do not offer routine wellness services. Our focus is entirely on urgent and critical cases, delivered by experienced emergency professionals working together to provide timely, dedicated treatment when it matters most.

Proudly serving Grand Blanc and surrounding communities, EVCC Saginaw is the sixth EVCC location and third in Michigan. Independently owned since 2003, EVCC has remained committed to raising the bar for emergency veterinary care across the Midwest, and our #1 goal is to expand toward 24/7/365 availability as we grow our Saginaw team and community partnerships.

‘Get in Line’ From Home

To help minimize stress, you can secure your place in line before you leave home. Don’t worry, we’ll notify you via text when it’s your turn to come in.

A few things to keep in mind...

  • This is not an appointment. Your pet’s estimated visit time is just that—an estimate. Visit times can change based on caseload and the urgency of other patients' needs.
  • To keep things simple and stress-free, we’ll send you text updates to let you know when to come in. If there’s a change in your estimated visit time, we’ll notify you right away.
  • If your pet is experiencing a crisis or needs immediate care, please don’t wait. Call us or come in right away!
  • When you arrive, we’ll assess your pet’s condition. If their situation is critical, they’ll be seen immediately. If they’re stable, your reserved place in line will be held.

Understanding ER Wait Times

Upon arrival, our team will promptly evaluate your pet’s condition. Pets in critical condition are treated immediately, while those who are stable may need to wait as more urgent cases are prioritized.*

We know waiting can be stressful, so we’ll keep you informed and updated throughout your visit.

*If your pet’s condition changes during your visit, please notify us immediately so we can reassess their triage level.
