Located just a short drive away, Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC) – Saginaw delivers urgent and critical care for dogs and cats throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region, available from Fridays at 7 PM through Mondays at 8:30 AM.*

*While our facility closes at 8:30 AM on Mondays, the last patient will be seen at 7 AM to allow adequate time for treatment. We kindly ask that you plan your visit accordingly to ensure your pet receives the care they need. Thank you for understanding.

From the moment you walk through our doors, our emergency team is prepared to assist. We focus on streamlined triage, transparent communication, and compassionate treatment. Our team is here to guide you through check-in, answer questions, and provide consistent updates during your visit.

As an emergency-only veterinary hospital, we focus solely on urgent and life-threatening cases. We do not provide routine wellness services—instead, we concentrate fully on rapid, skilled emergency response when pets need it most.

Now serving Flushing, EVCC Saginaw is the sixth location in the EVCC network and third in Michigan. Since 2003, EVCC has remained independently owned, offering trusted emergency veterinary care throughout the Midwest. Our primary goal is to expand toward 24/7/365 availability by growing our medical team and strengthening partnerships across the communities we serve, including:

‘Get in Line’ From Home

To help minimize stress, you can secure your place in line before you leave home. Don’t worry, we’ll notify you via text when it’s your turn to come in.

A few things to keep in mind...

  • This is not an appointment. Your pet’s estimated visit time is just that—an estimate. Visit times can change based on caseload and the urgency of other patients' needs.
  • To keep things simple and stress-free, we’ll send you text updates to let you know when to come in. If there’s a change in your estimated visit time, we’ll notify you right away.
  • If your pet is experiencing a crisis or needs immediate care, please don’t wait. Call us or come in right away!
  • When you arrive, we’ll assess your pet’s condition. If their situation is critical, they’ll be seen immediately. If they’re stable, your reserved place in line will be held.

Understanding ER Wait Times

Upon arrival, our team will promptly evaluate your pet’s condition. Pets in critical condition are treated immediately, while those who are stable may need to wait as more urgent cases are prioritized.*

We know waiting can be stressful, so we’ll keep you informed and updated throughout your visit.

*If your pet’s condition changes during your visit, please notify us immediately so we can reassess their triage level.
