"This place was fabulous, we brought our very sick Boston Mix in. From the front desk, the techs, nurses and the doctors, everybody was kind, wonderful, understanding, and very caring for our sweet doggie. There was a two or three hour wait when I first came in, which I did not have a problem with.

No. We understand that emergencies are unpredictable. All we ask is that if you suspect your pet is experiencing a medical emergency to bring them in right away.
Some common, potentially life-threatening emergencies we typically see include, but are not limited to:
- Trauma, such as an attack by another animal or being hit by a moving vehicle
- Ingestion of a toxic food or substance
- Increase in breathing rate or effort
- Any vomiting or diarrhea in a puppy or kitten
- Vomiting repeatedly or having multiple episodes of diarrhea in an adult dog
- Retching repeatedly
- Blood in urine or straining to produce urine
- Red, painful, or swollen eyes
- A swollen or distended abdomen

Call us and bring your pet in for an evaluation as soon as possible. If you can, bring the packaging or a sample of the substance they ingested to help with diagnosis and treatment.
