Why should I take my pet to EVCC – Mishawaka versus another ER vet?

At EVCC, we’re more than an emergency hospital. We’re a team built on compassion, trust, and community-focused care.

Founded in 2003 by 36 local veterinarians, EVCC was created to meet the urgent need for accessible emergency veterinary services in the Midwest. Today, we remain independently owned, with over 20 years of experience and continued involvement from 18 of our founding doctors—all dedicated to putting your pet’s health first.

Unlike corporate-owned ER vet hospitals, every decision we make is guided by what’s best for your pet. Our independence allows us to adapt quickly, prioritize exceptional care without compromise, and treat every patient like our own.

At EVCC, our mission is simple: to provide compassionate, accessible emergency care to pets in the communities that need it most. Learn more about the EVCC story.
