Our Specialty is EMERGENCY CARE

Emergency Veterinary Care Centers grew out of a very real need for accessible emergency veterinary care and critical care in Northwest Indiana (NWI). In 2001, the seeds were sown and 36 veterinarians came together to accommodate this pressing need. Combining their resources, knowledge, and experience, they founded the facility formerly known as North Central Veterinary Emergency Center. They had one mission in mind: to set a higher standard for pet emergency and critical care in NWI.

Our very first location opened in Westville, IN, and we now have 3 convenient locations in the region—one in Westville, one in Highland, IN, and another in Mishawaka, IN. Today, our hospitals continue to be run by veterinarians, even after evolving over the years with an eye towards continued growth.

Regardless of the changes in our facilities and technology and the growth of our teams, our core beliefs and mindset remain as they were when our first facility opened its doors so many years ago. As we did then, so we do today: We provide the communities we serve with compassionate, high-quality emergency veterinary care when pets and their families need it most.
